He’s totally that. The dude even wears Crocs basically all the time.

It should be noted that the first Deadspin Pants Party held in Chicago was on Dog Day at the Cell.

I don’t mind a “no carryover” as long as the situation is such that you can actually take the time off without getting penalized and you know that it’s no carryover upfront. I get more actual vacation now, even though I have 3 weeks of use-it-or-lose-it vs. 4 weeks accrued (and then unlimited) at my prior employer.

Lots of law firms who went by the accrued days method (standard seemed to be start at zero vacation days, and you earned off days based on days worked, would earn 20 days over the course of a year, and that was the max you could bank) switched to “unlimited” for associates because they know damn well associates can’t

Good to see that they got to the kruks of his groin pain quickly

GET AWAY FROM ME CARL MONDAY

He’s just living up to his chant

But! Apparently Melky’s kid is going to be born soon and Garcia is coming up tomorrow to replace him for a few days. Meaning we could have the All Garcia Outfield (Willy/Leury/Avi) over the weekend at some point.

What the hell, Marchman, you’re supposed to have to beat @SSS_pnoles or @WriteSox to the punch at Sox Math to get a fabulous prize like that

The Bandit says come a little closer so I can bat at you

The drones targeted non-state actor terrorists, this one targeted the military of a nation. The action against terrorist groups has been treated as covered by the AUMF by both the Bush and Obama administrations; bombing Assad was not.

I mean the majority of successful NFL QBs right now were first rounders (or basically a first rounder, in the case of Brees as the first pick of round 2). You can get lucky on a guy in round 3 or below, sure, but first rounders hit more often. Which, duh, of course they do.

And after tomorrow’s game gets rained out, you’ll get the “fortune” of seeing James Shields!

Yeah but winter hats on Saturday!

The problem wasn’t just the foul calls, but that the whistle seemed to change after the half. Stuff was getting called that I think they were letting go in the first half. That is exactly the opposite of how you call a game if you’re going to call it tight - call it tight early, everyone knows it’s going to be called
