My 96 Civic has that soft touch plastic everywhere and I love it. I get in newer cars and it’s just rock hard plastic everywhere. I’d prefer the soft touch plastic nonsense over the rock hard plastic any day of the week.

Whenever someone asks me what a good car for their son/daughter or whatever, I ask them their budget, then tell them to look online for cars in their budget. Then I tell them to pay attention as they drive, and see how many cars within their budget they see on the road that appear to still be running.

There was one in my neighborhood that had some huge ass chrome rims on it. I gotta say, it pulled the look off absolutely stunningly. They really seemed to fit well with the overall design.
