I like Levon Helm but that version of Take Me to the River is awful. Why would you choose that over the Al Green original or Talking Heads version?

I just finished binge-watching the entire series yesterday. This is the first time I watched a new episode. That is all.

Most of the seasons are 10 episodes and the episodes themselves are around 25 minutes so it's not as much as it sounds like.

I binged all 11 and a half seasons these past couple of months and it is so worth it. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

They did win a Grammy for "The Game of Love". Which I think is a genuinely good song, it was written by Gregg Alexander and it sounds like a New Radicals outtake.

Jean Reno as Janet Reno

You guessed it, Frank Stallone!

Wanna know who killed Laura? YOU DID! WE ALL DID!

From Mark Frost's Reddit AMA last year:
"Do you know if DKL actually read [The Secret History of Twin Peaks]? Interesting because word is he didn't care much about the secret diary for instance."
"Not true about the Diary; it became the basis for FWWM"

Sufjan Stevens and St. Vincent have been snubbed way more than Beyoncé. They have one award between the two of them (Annie won Best Alt Album last year), Beyoncé has 20. Basically what I'm saying is the Grammys does not have a problem giving awards to Beyoncé but they do have a problem recognizing the actual best

There's also the cassette tape, "Diane…" which is mostly a re-telling of the first season from Cooper's perspective but is still a fun listen and it's on Audible.

Counterpoint: I've heard that's false and the novel formed the basis for Fire Walk With Me.

"IT'S WRONG!"

It came out in October actually. I was a little disappointed in it as I was hoping for a more traditional novel. I thought a lot of it seemed more X-Files than Twin Peaks. There's also a lot of retconning that often doesn't really match with the continuity of the show. It's still a cool keepsake for the hardcore

He's going to take down Trump with his sick beats.

Andre the Giant, we hardly knew ye!

They left out the best performance of the night from the broadcast. Judy Collins singing "Suzanne" in tribute to Leonard Cohen was left to the pre-ceremony but is thankfully on YouTube. I was wondering why there was no tribute to him, glad he wasn't forgotten, just deemed not important enough for the main ceremony. h

"Okay class, today we'll be dissecting a banana. We only have two so get into groups of thirteen."

That was pretty great.

I think Beyoncé is very talented. I didn't hear her last album but I watched her performance at the Grammys last night and found it incredibly pretentious and off-putting. I won't argue if other people found it "flawless" but really, I don't think her not winning her 10,000th Grammy is anything to be angry about.
