Not sure why people are hating on this so much when just a short time ago THIS was the latest custom C5. Even if it looks a little stupid, it's no where near as stupid as this.

This car is 1,000% gorgeous but that price is 100% CP.

Any Caprice/Roadmaster/Family Truckster-style classic American boat station wagon. Can you fit a queen mattress flat in the back? Possibly. If not, stretch out on one of the couch-sized bench seats for unparalleled comfort.

Had to?

Best part about these C55s is the lack of forced induction. The reliability of this generation is significantly better than most other AMGs. From everything I've read these are just about the lowest-maintenance AMGs available, and there are so many out there with only 50-60k miles for just $15-20k. Can't wait to get

Nice house!

Pretty sure we have our QOTD winner right here

Are these swapped RX-8 seats?

Someone told me once that at high speeds the wipers on the A2 (this gen at least) would lift off the windshield and essentially render them non-functional.

They may not sell well over here, but over in Europe these things fly off the lots.

Haha, because all travelers' carry-ons are shaped exactly like this and will be designed to fit perfectly with one another. Nice try, Boeing.

I feel like all these recall articles beg for an article or QOTD:

I'll agree with you. I only picked these out because there are so many still out there in decent condition. Most of the first gens I've seen have been totally rusted out, whereas the second gens seem slightly-less rusted out. I'd pay good money for a clean '84-'89 though.

Looks beat! Might wanna swap out those front seats haha. $1,500 is damn cheap though...would probably clean up nice.

Early-to-mid 90s (or earlier) Toyota 4Runner. For only a few grand you get a damn solid truck, usually 4WD, 5 seats, sometimes 3 pedals, and decent gas mileage. There are a bunch out there that haven't been beat up, and they still look pretty sharp and cool. Like THIS one in Delaware with a mere 111k miles for

I think it's really interesting how they ALL appear to be wearing helmets. I feel like a lot of/most countries outside of the U.S. don't mandate helmets, so I'm surprised at the lack of recklessness. It sounds like a swarm of bees!

Article of the year here DeMuro, I cannot get enough. This is the embodiment of your writing style and it's got me on the floor laughing. Kudos to you, you Nissan Cube man bitch, you.

Never said it was my cup of tea, but lots of people like to scoop those up for cheap along with the anemic third gen Camaros. Craigslist has an even more appealing assortment of 70s Firebirds.

I second the Firebird/Trans Am selection. Whether it's the less-desirable early 80s-early 90s version:

Every single time one of these buyer's guides is released it makes me want to run out and buy whatever the guide is for. This is definitely no different.
