This was a very common problem in the beginning. I’m not sure how well they’ve resolved it, if they have, since I’m not really using it much anymore. But the disconnects are fairly common with most BT devices. It’s a fault of BT more than anything else.
Thanks! It’s nice to finally be writing again. :)
I agree. My personal feeling is that marijuana is not dangerous and even if you have too much you don’t really have anything to worry about because you’ll probably just sleep it off. But legal issues prevent me from having that opinion in an article about health concerns, especially when it involves marijuana. I’m…
That’s an excellent explanation!
I’ve had a couple of good ones from my mother, who is otherwise the sweetest woman in the world. It’s like she needs a break from being so nice once or twice a year and has to say something mean.
It’s been so long since there’s been a meetup in LA! Obviously I’m going.
In regards to #2, yes the warranty is good. They replace anything for a year without any BS, pretty much, and after a year you can pay $65 (half cost) for a new pair if you trade in the old ones. So it's a good upgrade situation, too.
Yeah, I don't think the EarPods are terrible but for $30 they're not good enough. I think they're fine if you got them for free with something but there are—as you obviously know—much better, cheaper options. But the Amazon ones are like black EarPods shape-wise and they are surprisingly good. It's in no way a pure…
Whitson, I didn't know you were going through so much pain! I'm still enjoying the Bose you recommended awhile back, but have you tried the cheap Amazon ones? (Also, hooray for Command+K in Kinja, I just noticed now!) I got a pair when they were on sale last week and they're like Ear Pods that sound good. What…
Just this last Sunday, I was complaining about how women should be allowed to take their tops off if they want. (I say this as a gay man who gets no sexual gratification out of it—this is solely in the interest of fairness and equality.) I was quickly told that it is actually legal for women to be topless in public…
Rather than constantly focusing on your future, remind yourself regularly of where you were 2 years ago. What did your life look like? What was your career like? How were you? And when you think about that, celebrate how much you've come in the last 2 years.
I thought it was you who came up with it, but I couldn't remember! Okay, I'm going to go credit you properly now.
I'm extremely proud of this. :)
Thank you. :) I wouldn't be too hard on Gawker, though. I'm not going to pretend for a second that I agree with everything they've done but I know the people there and I think—at least most of the time—their hearts are in the right place. And there's some pretty funny shit on there sometimes. But when it comes to…
I have to at least commend you on that epic block of text. :)
Thanks Mike, I appreciate that. It actually was rarely comments so much as attacks on Twitter and some other things that happened outside of the site. Although I love this one and wear it like a badge of honor. :) But as I go forward I will definitely try and remember that. I really appreciate you saying it, and…
Haha, thank you :)
Thanks! It's currently on Squarespace. It's not as perfect as I'd hoped, but it does work pretty well and is very easy to work with.
