fortnite’s competitive scene seems to be all over the place with their punishments for cheating.  hard to respect it when a player is caught cheating and is given a suspension that barely even makes them have to sit out the next chance for money.  see xif and renaldo last year.

Thanks for all of your analysis, informative and easy to follow. I come away with this elevator speech: it’s like the bromide that sharks must constantly swim or die. It’s not totally accurate for sharks, but it sure seems to apply here. Hertz needs the bulk of its assets to steadily perform day to day, week to week. Read more

Any good source for this photo? Seen this image float around before, and I still don’t believe it’s a Typhoon concept.

A professional race driver cheated in a competition. Just because it was in a simulated environment as opposed to in real life doesn’t make it any less relevant.

If they quit going to Starbucks and eating avocado toast every morning they would be just fine. They just need to get a 2nd or 3rd job and pull themselves up by their boot straps.

Nah, stamp their foreheads so that they are denied entry to the supermarket in the first place (and access to healthcare.  If it’s all a hoax to them, why would they need to tie up an ICU bed or ventilator, right?).

Ok let’s take this a little further. Let’s say Hertz goes “fuck-it” and dumps all of their used cars on the market, depressing used car prices. Now at this moment, there are a whole lot of private, individual car loans that are about to become default because the people making those payments have been forced to stop Read more

It’s a cash flow problem. Hertz doesn’t have much in terms of actual assets. I think of each car as a small cash flow machine. Money comes in from rentals, and a substantial portion goes right out to make lease payments. So long as there are rentals, there’s no additional capital needed. Right now, the company still Read more

For most modern European cars, installing the *factory* hitch basically involves taking the whole back end of the car apart. Complete rear facia and underlying crash structure. Because that hitch is rated for European tow weight ratings, and is designed and mounted accordingly. And correspondingly expensive. If you Read more

Thank you. Everyone is talking like they know shit without even acknowledging that factory installed options are sometimes much different then aftermarket. Your pictures are a perfect example. If you want it hidden behind the bumper cover with the receiver behind a removable trim panel (clean “factory” look) then Read more
