Every week, I look over EU eBay for absolutely no reason. I spotted this beautiful General Lee for sale. I asked myself: who would buy a confederate American movie car in the United Kingdom. Then the answer came to me:
We finally got the aftermarket headlights (led made to look like xenon), Diamond grille, and Illuminated Star mounted on the GLA. They look pretty close to OEM, and we didn’t even have to modify the electrical system to do it like we would have if we tried to retrofit the xenons. There’s no error codes either!
Curse the middle aged man from Maryland who owned our GLA before us for getting all sorts of expensive options (on a lease nonetheless) except the one that is hardest to retrofit. We tried everything and ended up getting the lights functioning. But even after that, the damn turn signals wouldn’t work.
After years of trying to convince my dad not to go to car washes, we’ve finally started our crusade of only doing our washes by ourselves. Getting the RDX and the GLA was what finally drove him over the edge
Today we picked up our GLA from Elite Auto Brokers out in Gaithersburg, Maryland. While there, I saw all these amazing cars parked outside. Some were for sale, others were being serviced.
I was convinced by the Oppo community not to buy a Mercedes GLA from copart. Half of you said that copart cars are bad investments, and others said that a 2016 GLA is not an upgrade from a 2009 ML. We listened to the first half and ignored the second.
For a while I’ve been rallying my mom to get rid of our aging, yet somewhat-reliable-for-a-Mercedes 2009 ML350. She’s been in the market for one of these GLAs, and today I found this nice one on Copart. Wish us luck.
Today I found this watch laying on the street walking home from school. It was crushed by a tire, had its glass broken, and didn’t work. After some tinkering (removing bits of glass, replacing some missing gears inside with some from a wind up car, and fabricating a very bad band), I finally got it to work. It’s not…
Finally picked up the RDX yesterday. This bastard is fast! Sport+ is the power player here, while comfort is well, comfy.
what was once a beautiful cherry red Dodge Challenger R/T has been converted to this monstrosity in the Cobra Kai YouTube series (you should be watching btw). Here’s what it looked like before:
After months of rallying and lobbying my dad to buy one oover a Lexus RX350 F-Sport, we finally went out and bought a white-on-Red 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec! We’ll be taking delivery next week (shoutout to Clinton Acura in NJ for a great deal)
I’ve been hearing a whole lot about the Rivian pickup, but no one talks about the Discovery-esque SUV
Look forward to seeing this on Copart
Woke up today to mom’s Merc ML350 with its doors open and ransacked. What’s weird is nothing was missing.
Bought these at the Avenel Flea Market today in Avenel, NJ. Got them both for $7. One of them is for a 1M, the other is for the 6-series
While were staying in Spain and traveling to France, my family rented a very nice white 2018 Q3, which I am going to do an OppoReview (unlike the last rental we had, a Kia Soul, which was too bland to do a full review on). Until then, I’m just taking questions, so let em rip.
Some dumbass in a VW rear ended a stationary Policia van. Shattered pats of the right side of his car. Practically the whole squadron showed up to search for drugs, alcohol, bombs, guns, etc. Driver was a white guy with gray hair. Must be his lucky day. I’ll post pics and repost later. Also, all Spanish Opponauts, if…
What I’ve learned in a day:
Watching some Initial D to celebrate!
