The letter from valve was literally addressed to him, and he’s correct in stating that its not a 512(c) takedown, meaning its not DMCA, meaning right out of the gate he’s got more right about this than anyone whos reported on it except the verge. I think he might know a thing or two about the situation.

You could have mentioned that Valve was the one who reached out to Nintendo, but that would be inconvenient. After all, why would the publication that loves to go after other parties for omitting the truth because it doesn’t fit the narrative bother to get all the facts right before running an article to further a

I legitimately wonder about how people engage with the game when they can say things like this and not realize that they are wildly incorrect. Monsters drop weapons and fusion materials. There is *never* a shortage of resources in this game. There was in BotW, but TotK effectively solves this by making weapon

If the dupe glitch had missingno like effects of borking save data I 100fucking% guarantee that you and countless other people would have been screaming online about how ridiculous and anticonsumer it is that nintendo hasn’t fixed this horrible game destroying bug prior to this patch dropping, and then you would have

Genuine question: Is this legally actionable?

I will never understand why these alternative milk people are so obsessed with using the term “milk” for their vegetable oil water. Its a bad branding choice. Just choose something else and maybe they’ll be able to expand the market outside of ill informed health nuts.

Man using paying customers to perform open road beta tests of self driving software that is explicitly designed to disregard road laws in favor of convenience has opinions on morality.

Arceus is the best game since Gen5 and the best pokemon on the switch. The story doesn’t feel unsatisfying or unfinished, theres just a few loose ends

What a ridiculously entitled outlook you have

You guys really want to end up like splinter, don’t you?

Ranking NV below 3 entirely because the strip is bad, despite acknowledging that it is a better game, is really just a bottom barrel, guaranteed click take

Kotaku over here with the same takes that pokemon fans have been making since the 3DS games.

guys I’m starting to think the cybertruck might be a bad design

I dunno about other games, but David Jaffe has Aphantasia and struggles with fairly basic video game puzzles, like the notorious breakable wall in Metroid Dread incident. I genuinely believe that this can explain a lot of the narrative choices and puzzle hints found in GoW.

I can’t really get excited about finding a powerful weapon with an invisible stamina meter that will maybe last me two battles. The complaint has never been about the existence of weapon durability, it is about how aggressive it is

Most supporters fail to realize that it is a fundamentally flawed mechanic that breaks the flow of combat with constant pausing, as well as making any kind of combo system virtually impossible to implement in any meaningful way because the weapon could break at any moment, reducing the combat to being barely more

How is it a game changer? You can buy solar panels from jackery or ecoflow or whatever for a couple hundred bucks, you can get a big battery for 1-2k, you can probably match or exceed the capabilities of this camper well before coming close to the price difference between what this will cost vs a regular camper.

What a deranged response

Look, a lot of gamers are immature, shitty and jump on angry bandwagons but we need to be real here for a second.

The Great Sea has plenty of locations that match up to their Hyrule equivalent. Dragon Roost is Death Mountain, Forest Haven is the trunk of the Great Deku Tree, etc.
