some things just shouldnt be remade. Total Recall was okay because it was based off a story and didnt have to be isolated to the 80's. Videodrome is much trickier. most of the movies themes, messages, and symbolism are deeply embedded in the 80's. it would be just as much work to do it justice (or probably more) than

video != VHS

i hate that they do that. one of the biggest offenders of recent time was RAGE. it looked good for the most part (unless you got close to anything), but it did not look like the screenshots and videos we got beforehand.

Ubisoft is still clueless why people dont want to buy their PC games. they still cant see that the problem might be on their end. perhaps, something they did pissed off PC gamers.

Now playing

i just got done watching this video and i think its relevant to this story.

i actually agree for the most part.

they didnt give me a game. i paid $60. the same amount as everyone else. i find it insulting that you imply someone else's money is worth more than mine. its also a poor excuse that a game only starts to get good near or at its end. thats not a vote in the games favor.

thats some real blast processing! lol

typical MMO mentality. lets cater to those who spends lots and lots of time on the game. well ive never even finished the game. its not that i dont want to. i only got it a month or two ago and i only have a chance to play it like an hour or two a week (if that).

Duke Nukem Forever wasnt that bad. it was just medicore. bad is not the same thing as average.

sometimes its called rudder control. its being able to turn left and right without rolling.

minor nitpick: the DSi and the DS are not the same system. the DSi is some weird between generations system.

lets hope they have yaw control. i was playing Just Cause 2 again recently and i absolutely hate the planes in that game because theres no yaw control.

ultra-realistic?

no lag? why would you say that? lag is dependent on a lot more than speed. for instance, your distance from the server plays a big role.

ewwwwww. i always hate it when a new company takes over a service. it wasnt too bad when Gamestop took over Impulse, but good god was it awful when Gamefly took over Direct2Drive. i actually ended up losing one of my games (fortunately i had a copy on another service but its still a shitty thing to have happen).

its adequate but nothing special if you have a decent PC. its great if you have a good internet connection and want to play PC games on a lesser device or a bad PC, but it will always fall short of playing on a decent PC.

yeah i guess console gamers arent as used to to being able to recycle stuff except maybe the odd video cord. living room PC's are also great for emulators.

technically speaking Deus Ex is an RPG.

i hope this doesnt mean Half Life 3 will lack the Ichthyosaur. that was my favorite enemy in Half Life. i really hated it only made a cameo in the sequel.
