“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a person in possession of good receipts is delivering a read, not shade.”

It’s so curious that these conspiracy hunters find themselves - the one time there does seem to be a genuine conspiracy going on - on the wrong side of it and refuse to believe it.

“Shortly after “alt-right” poster-boy Steve Bannon reportedly called Jared Kushner a “cuck,” signaling an escalating battle in the White House between the “Bannonites” and the “globalists,” Donald Trump bucked his isolationist promises and launched a military strike against the Syrian government”

Maybe we should be educating girls about this while they are still in grade school, so that they are not so vulnerable to any man who gives them attention. Girls ought to be armed with sufficient information so that they report these adult men who try to groom them to the police.

“When police approached her, the monkeys surrounded the girl, protecting her as one of their own, and attacking an officer as the girl screeched at him”

“Internet safety plays a humongous role. People are telling kids to walk in groups. But that’s not how these teens are being preyed on. We need to be proactive. When we find teens, it’s because of social media. They give us the social media no one knows. We need to engage. Our kids talk to other kids,” Frundt said.”

This is a really good point. Perhaps there could be a good balance between giving children freedom on the internet, but only granting them that freedom gradually after some talks. Like maybe disable the internet on the family computer until parents have had a chance to talk to them and teach them how to use it. Same

And you think humans are humane?

You know who else is naturally given towards aggression when confronted?

We have a general culture of holding women responsible for their sexuality since childhood, and not holding men responsible ever. I legitimately wonder how many girls and women seek out law enforcement knowing they will be arrested and charged because prison seems like a better alternative to being trafficked.

Prostitution remains a crime for juveniles in many states, although there is a push now to change that. Up until recently children involved in the sex trade weren’t viewed as victims, just “troubled kids.” Many still aren’t viewed as victims because they don’t fit a standard “victim” profile - some have prior

This isn’t a nuanced response by any stretch of the imagination, but she’s black: black women’s sexuality is often contextualised semiotically, metaphorically by the criminal system as dangerous, uncontainable, risky. So my guess is the prosecutors and police believed she was complicit in her human trafficking case

When I was jail, one of the girls there was in for sex trafficking and promoting prostitution. She was young, I dont think she was 20. Nice girl, we were “roommates for about 6 weeks - 2 months. I think she served a total of 4-5 months for her role. She got probation. She ended up skipping right away. We chatted on FB

I would imagine it has something to do with the fact that black teens are not seen as children. Rather than being treated as an exploited child, she was probably charged with prostitution.

While I definitely agree with a lot of what she says, I’ve also heard from teens that parents constantly checking their phones and trying to find them on social media makes them paranoid and not want to trust their parents and then that also leaves them open for abuse (as with Frundt’s case where the person grooming

Well, sure, but it does mean she’s not being cared for properly. Now, I realize it’s a joke argument because - they’re monkeys, they can’t practice first aid or something. But obviously, she wasn’t in a good way when she was found - the article also states she was malnourished, among other things.

Having wounds doesn’t mean she was being actively wounded or neglected. She probably had wounds because she was living in the fuckin woods (probably) without clothes.

She was living in the forest, of course she had wounds.

Just more proof that animals are better people than humans.

I just had a pap test come back positive for one of the “unspecified” strains of HPV. The best part is that I haven’t had sex in four years. I wish I could have been vaccinated. When I was of the appropriate age, it was still brand new, and the FIRST of the three shots cost me $1200. WITH insurance. My poor
