Really? I've had like ~20 second waits on online matches all morning. Did you download the update?

"On that note, 2001 and 2007 were great years for video games. 2011, though? Not so much."

I feel like this is the first 3DS game I've seen where the screenshots don't look jagged and bad (even though 3DS games look really nice in motion usually). Any idea why that is?

Which is the most compelling possible argument to put Captain N in Smash Bros. The weirder the better, man.

You know, if you'd told me this a year ago, before I started actually getting a chance to play the 3DS library, I would've been upset about the new "better" model since I had just gotten one of the original models.

And I do agree that Blizzard should start another new franchise. That's what it sounded like Titan was going to be for a while, but at this point between them restarting it from the ground up, and that talk of WoW2 a few weeks ago, I wonder whether that's been scrapped/retooled for another MMO installment of Warcraft,

I have no idea what any of that means (I've never touched an actual Diablo game, just the respective clones like Torchlight), but it reinforces that people seem to like it. I'm glad people like it. I like it when people like things. Good for them.

"Everyone else likes it, I'm smarter than everyone else, therefore it sucks."

You're thinking of Polybius. I've heard tons of stuff on that, ranging from "complete fraud" to "caused seizures" to "government mind control." Decide for yourself what is true.

Yeah, there's a whole Arakkoa zone (Spires of Arak, I believe). Plus, a new model for the Arakkoa of them before they lost their wings.

The game has a memetic difficulty, but honestly I don't think that's what a lot of the die-hard fans like about it.

YES! Lucina was my biggest wish for the new Smash Bros. I am even more hyped now!

It's pretty flattering really. I'm just picturing Kim Jong-un playing Homefront, and saying "Yes, I like these 'Kaos Studios' people. They shall be the last to die."

Actually, I bet Kim Jong-un would be a big fan of Homefront. Not only did it feature him coming to power after his father died well before that actually happened, it then portrayed him as a brilliant strategist who "unified" the Koreas and then basically rolled over the United State military.

They say by the time Homefront 4 is in development, whatever studio is working on it is going to be invaded by North Korea. Not the rest of the country, just that studio.

I dunno, animating/modeling all 700+ Pokemon for Pokemonamie in the last game seemed insane to me at the time, they went for that. I hope they extend it to a decent selection, if not everyone.

Yeah, if you're looking for something older, or something more niche, it seems like you have to go to Gamestop or go online. I went looking for Shin Megami Tensei 4 at several stores last year, and Gamestop was the only one who even stocked it at all.

I mean, we kind of already have this with "60 minutes of extra Assassin's Creed X content available only on PlayStation 3!" Don't we? As far as I can think, it always winds up being missions which are kind of bad, because out of necessity, the developers choose to prioritize making the content the most people will

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't /r/nosleep similar to, for example, /r/creepypasta in that it's a collection of stories which are presented as though they're true, but are acknowledged to be fictional outside of the story? Like Slender Man type stuff?

He made the right choice. hashtagsquirtlesquadforlife
