People think my 1991 is a restored 70's model all the time. Not too many people know these were made past the mid 80's.

Can’t be rust if there’s no material there at all.

    I am loving mine!

I expected it to be an economical, leather-appointed daily driver with a great stereo but put a V-6 in a 2,600-lb car and you get a FUN, economical, leather-appointed daily driver with a great stereo.

You are correct. The Cimarron can not be considered “meh.” Mine gets a lot of attention at cars and coffee, and has people have snapped photos of it and then posted them on various, “can you believe this shitbox is still on the road” Facebook groups. It’s the comfiest, most economical commuter car I’ve ever owned.

Oh don’t worry, republican strategists are already busy building messaging that will soothe its base who will eventually believe voting against net neutrality was a good thing. This is the formula. And it works.

Me. Freeze me and put me in there.

The problem isn’t that they are currently using data for nefarious reasons, but what this article points out is how ridiculously easy it would be to do so.

I fear I will NEVER grasp quantum computing but maybe it would help if someone provided examples of what kinds of problems would be solved by them.

The question I want to ask flat-earthers is: If the Earth is flat, who would benefit from maintaining the round-Earth lie?

Yes, I’m replacing the one in my Grand Wagoneer right now. Related: With little modification, that sound bar pictured in the XJ fits into the Grand Wagoneer. Someone should tell David. Here’s mine after I mounted it.

I don’t care who gets the job as long as he DOESN’T SPEAK! Just DRIVE please!

I bought the sweet potatoes and the bourbon and was about to do this (via sous vide) last night when I thought, “Hey, would this be better if I cooked the peels first?” Turning starches into sugars is always a net positive in my opinion. What are your thoughts?

Good luck and Godspeed. IFSJA and fsjnetwork should be bookmarked. See you in Colorado next year.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. It’s true (thankfully): They don’t build them like they used to. I own one anyway but that seat belt is a necessity! These pretty much only changed cosmetically over their 29 year span.

Sprechgesang! Took me 25 years to realize she never really sings at all on this track.

I’m mostly sure you have the rest of your filming already planned but I invite you to come drive my Cimarron (as soon as it gets out of the shop). The car industry needs to be reminded of its history and 2 or 3 people are desperate for an unbiased (lol) opinion of “the car that almost killed Cadillac.”

As someone who has an unnatural affinity for the unloved, I think they are both dreamy. Also: I hope to see a fair amount of Cimarron in this show.

I’m slowly refurnishing my house and I go to Ikea fairly regularly. I’ve noticed some of the little rubber crosses on the charging furniture demonstration models are already rubbed off. Might be from people picking at them but doesn’t instill much faith in their durability.

It worked jumping my 91 Grand Wagoneer from a very dead battery.
