You're right, they didn't say wake up at 3 to order it. It was more like if you want one, you can pre-order at 3am

The iPhone 5 hands-ons weren't enough to show there were problems w/ camera flare or easily scratched casings. A Surface hands-on wouldn't show more than that they turn on. Without reading a full review, people who pre-order the Surface or the iPhone 5 are early adopters, not fools
The return policy on the website says you can return unopened computers. It doesn't say anything about used computers
It's the hypocrisy where logic is only applied to non-Apple products. Apple products do sell out quickly but they don't have an infallible track record and lives will not be significantly worse w/o them yet Gizmodo will tell you to wake up at 3am to preorder an iPhone 5. What the haters fail to realize is that…
Unless Apple Stores open every returned item to make sure it wasn't resealed, why couldn't the same thing happen there?
Then Wile E Coyote is WebOS?
I like how many of the comments are proving the point of your article. Nice work on the gif!
$149? I'll pass.
People like to call me an Apple hater but even I'll say this is such a non-issue. If I shoot into a bright light source w/ a DSLR, I'll get flare also. Yes, it's not as purple as in these photos (I get more greens and blues) but it still happens. If it bothers you that much, upload it to Instagram and claim it's…
So these are Pattern events?
If flimsier glass were used, a bad pothole would have potential for cuts. The chances of getting cut by auto glass is low because the glass that's used is tougher
The Kindle looks good on paper but I like that my Nook can run the Kindle app and read epub files. The resolution's good enough so I'll be keeping it unless there's some other compelling reason to get a Kindle
Jim was comparing iPhone glass to car window glass (Last line of his comment). I was making the point that car glass is different because there is a higher potential of injury than with a phone
Here's your next phone: http://gizmodo.com/5795939/casios-rugged-gzone-commando-takes-android-smartphones-into-mil+spec-territory
Somehow? We're talking about an iPhone, not one of those ugly mil-spec Casio phones. If this were an Android phone, it'd be evidence of a design flaw
This sounds like something I'd write if I were drunk or high... so which is it Casey?
this probably sounds better
