Having read J. Michael Straczynski's second draft of this, I cannot for the life of me understand what is going on with this film. The draft I read was dark, awesome, kept the post-war-interview-form while showing how people survived, the lengths that were gone to and the lines that were crossed, while giving us…
True. Just like Mark Sheppard!
No, I think you're right. At the very least, something of Caroll's has popped up.
Everything regarding Warehouse 13 is a giant "YES!". Lovecraft, how artifacts are born, Mrs. Frederic, Lewis Carroll and just... This season is going to be fantastic. SO STOKED!
Going from how much I enjoyed the first season, I'll be watching. If it as half as batshit insane as that, it'll at least be good fun.
Not going to lie... This actually made me cry.
And bring in Jason Segel! I completely agree.
James Cameron has no place on this list - Avatar was really bad, Aliens was lame and boring, Terminator 1 is just okay and so is The Abyss.
I'm with you on the God-idea. I feel like Supernatural should stay with heaven/hell - it has enough material to play with there instead of introducing new monsters and mythoses. Especially when they're as uninteresting as the Leviathans.
Let's ignore Protetowich-guy and trust Wright to make it great, shall we? *crosses fingers that this will happen*
I find your lack of faith... disturbing.
It's definitely sad that we don't see new movies of them, but I'm thinking it's well worth the wait. Especially when it's Del Toro and Wright we're talking about. ;)
I think another mega-arc is the right way to go for Supernatural. They have enough monsters, creatures and wheels spinning that there's no reason someone could make another dastardly plan to do something other than 1) Engineering the Apocalypse or 2) Enslave Mankind (the latter of which was rather dull, when we came…
This project is not the former God Particle-project. That screenplay is already written by Oren Uziel based off his idea. I've read it and there's nothing regarding Wright or Protosevich in sight.
He had Scott Pilgrim in 2011 and The World's End next year, so his movies are coming out.
To be fair, he did also write the story for Thor, which really, really worked even though it shouldn't have. And the words along with Wright is enough to counter-balance this into the "awesome"-part of the spectrum, really.
I agree regarding "The God Complex"-thing, but I was just really interested to find out what it was.
I think the second season only would've made the situation worse for everyone, to be honest. Though I was very intrigued to find out what could be worse than ending the world.
I am very, very interested to see where he takes this "fall of the eleventh" and the mythos behind the name, but a question people seem to have forgotten is "Will we ever learn what was in the Doctor's room in "The God Complex"?
