I am so incredibly excited for Doctor Who's seventh season. It sounds even better than season 6, and that was some brilliant stuff.

This is my problem with Continuum too. I want to like it, but the weekly mysteries and cases are incredibly dull, while the series arc is very interesting.

Truer words have rarely been spoken!

Yay! More Neil Gaiman! Nothing wrong with that at all. :D

Agreed. Especially those getting too bogged down with it.

The 65-year thing is very true. I'm glad they're saying "we do what we want" and not feel bogged down by the enormous continuity - fairly certain that'll lead to a bad show.

"To hell with continuity." I love this quote. It's so perfectly Doctor Who and Moffaty that it's insane. "Hey, remember that line in the first episode of the season that said this IS the real Doctor and he IS indeed dead? That was a complete lie and now I'm ignoring it."

Well, consider me excited!

Moving away from the "heavy mythology"... I'm not entirely sure I like that. But hell, it cannot be worse than season 6. Or, of course it can

You made the right call. It's been entertaining since then, but it's not the same at all. The great surprises and clever twists have now been switched out with letdowns, cop-outs and less focus on the fun stuff. IMO, of course.

That it is. Thank you!

I'm getting very optimistic about this film. I think it's going to be really cool.

Still waiting patiently for that trailer. Skipped all the "visuals"-part of the post - this I want to SEE.

Well, this looks cool.

Where's that from again? I KNOW I've seen the film, but I cannot remember what it is. o.O

I'm halfway through book 3 now and I recognized about 3 characters. Then again, I'm usually skimming the "this is blabla of the house blaba"-parts of the text, since there's no way I'm going to remember them anyway.

I have to say, I'm getting a lot more confident regarding these new writers now. Here's hoping they pull it off, and gives us more great Community.

AGREED. Every time I scramble for the remote and go "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!".

I completely agree with you. It reminds me of someone(I think it's Jane Espenson)'s rule that the first scene of a television series should be the entire series (or premise) summed up. Example; Buffy. Ooooh, creepy school, a sound, "What's that?", go investigate... BUT sorry, your girlfriend is a vampire. *dies*

Marvel's working on a Dr. Strange-adaptation. It's been rumored a few times, so it's probably going to come in not-that-long. *crosses fingers*
