Mostly, but it’ll still take a few good releases to wash the taste of The Last Guardian’s 20 FPS on base PS4 away.
Well, considering his movie with a post-credits teaser sucked and the one without a post-credits teaser didn’t suck, I can see where he’s coming from, I guess.
I’m sure Abrams is very jealous of the writing skills of the good people at io9 :p
Yeah, regardless of success or quality, it’s obvious. This mode that clearly copies PUBG just came out of nowhere after a lot of criticism on the main game (well, “main”, considering i don’t read anything about it anymore i feel like they forgot it exists)
no, the $20 is for just the new extra content :p
“Pepe, a meme commonly associated with alt-right movements”
presumably, Disney’s cartoon version of Robin Hood, where he and Marion were foxes.
Haters gonna hate.
Hey, I disagree about Xenoblade 2 with him as much as you do, but i’m not sure bringing it up the one time he doesn’t is gonna help your case :p
Normally I’d agree, but even on the front page it includes the part about Ignis going blind late in the game.
Well, I was going to comment earlier but kinja was being kinja and now my comment will be buried beneath 200 others, but whatever :p
Well no, you’re still playing it on the Vita, it’s just not *running* on the Vita.
My point is that both views are extreme. Feel free to keep certain themes because they’re amazing and fit the new movies, but don’t keep them around just because they were first. New is not always better, but neither is old.
“The whole concept that every time a superhero franchise is rebooted with a new director, then you have to start the music from scratch is a bullshit idea. It’s only for the ego of the director of the composer.”
What a short-sighted thing to say, there are people who get a console for its games over anything else. I’m getting a Switch next month, I expect to use it docked at least 95% of the time, if not 100%.
Considering the amount of crap they tried to do in that one movie, 90 minutes was absolutely too short for The Dark Tower. Not everything needs to be long, but boy did you pick a wrong example.
Yeah, I never did the hiding thing when playing Mercy either, I just can’t bring myself to do it. I still did good, but every now and then I’d get my team going “omg Mercy, stop being so close to us, hide for res” which just made me go..ugh. It’s part of the reason I started to avoid playing Mercy a lot.
Mercy doesn’t actually require better aim now, her beams are still lock-on and her gun has always required aiming. The big difference is that she doesn’t hide in a corner waiting to resurrect 4+ people anymore and is actually in the fray now.
Pretty much this. Sure, a few characters don’t need to aim with their primary fire, but that’s a very small pool to pick from. Vast majority of heroes, particularly the “high tier” ones like Soldier/Mccree, very much rely on good aim.
