One my favourite ones is when somebody turns the TV on to watch the news or whatever before going to work then leaves it on while I'm trying to sleep. TV is in another room, so I start the process of casting music or a video and the TV switches inputs and shuts the hell up.

It is clearly a joke about the "f bomb" but there is always the chance its a real bomb with an F on the side to make it look like a joke. (These are the people who make us take off our shoes incase we have a bomb in there, I really don't blame the for taking this.)

I'm not sure about that. Even if only go on the weekends or something I still come out ahead. I'm not enough of a movie guy to take advantage of this though, even if I am in Denver.

It might be getting close. I was linked to a subreddit called 60fpsporn after some people were talking about 60fps gifs. I was expecting smooth 60fps gifs of whatever, not actual porn at 60fps.
Something like this happened to me with group messages and iPhones. Not as bad but it was still the same cell phone going off every 30 seconds.
