Good luck to this guy. It seems like he is really trying to turn things around, and he knows his assets, which is more than I can say for a lot of people who are wildly successful.

@mangonights: and the fact that this painting was a paradigm shift in style. before this portraits were a head to toe image, and backgrounds were shown with the same depth as foreground. This painting basically created the idea of head shots, and depth of field by fading the background.
