Disagree. It's already difficult to see around those behemoths when they don't have 9" of ground clearance that absolutely nobody that owns a current explorer actually needs. It should be the Everest, and it should be on sale here in limited numbers.

The Fiat is happy to have you on board, that one is just sexually frustrated.

It wouldn't make a difference, not to mention the Corolla/Camry are pretty much the best cars in their classes if you are looking for reliable care-free transportation. Sure the Fusion is a looker, and the new focus promises some European influence, but they still are lacking in the "drive and forget" category.

To each his own I guess. To me it looks like the screen has come out with guns blazin' like a Bond car that Q has been working on, which is to say - pretty damn cool.

The STI and EVO are not cool, they just show you have little sense and less money. Especially if bought used.

I have found the most difficult thing with advising people on vehicle purchases is to get them to be honest with themselves about their use. People knowingly lie to themselves based on their perception of particular vehicles (such as wagons). Perception is important to a lot of people, be it real or imagined, but

I would much rather have a "tacked on" screen than a huge console to surround the screen that obstructs vision and makes the cabin feel more confined. It's like saying you would rather have the old CRT TV that was built into a cabinet because it looks more like the other furniture in your house vs. a flat screen that

"Most people" won't drive this car. Also, "most people" don't want stick. I think the last number I saw was around 7% of all cars. I drive only stick, but still, this looks like "10/10 would hoon again".

Nobody makes a car that goes 200k with "just fluid changes". I agree with you, but i don't think hyperbole adds anything to your legitimate argument.

"Your table is ready, Mr. Trombone."

Of course! Don't worry, that will keep getting bigger numbers to where you can buy the CLA9,000,000 and everyone will know yours is the biggest...until the C10,000,000,000 comes out the next year and then the S(infinite) comes out the year after that. Then Mercedes will begin inventing new quantities to measure

With the addition of some things like restrictions on safety-concern items and a cap on fuel amount. I also like the grid penalties for using more than 5 of any of the major engine components.

An automaker "sells" a car when it is "sold" to the dealership. CAFE standards are good to push the automakers in the right direction, but if the business case wasn't there, they would just exit the business completely. Also, while MPGs are not the most important thing, it can tip the scales from a mid-size sedan to

A lot of people figure out the car they can afford by the amount it will cost them per month. If the gas costs less, the miles they travel generally doesn't change, so that means the car costs less per month to own. The data doesn't show a clear correlation however, as Americans generally want trucks and SUVs

You're welcome, ROW markets.

Not likely.

That too...why pony up for a Viper when a Hellcat will do the job?

I would propose the sedan version of this is the more stealthy choice.

Maybe for diehard enthusiasts. If you've got some guy with $60k burning a hole in his pocket and really needs attention, hes going to go to Dodge, leave, then go buy a vette.

Yep. Have you ever looked at one and desired more vents?
