Their small manned capsule has been testlaunched and they constantly send up very expensive and sensitive payloads in the form of satelites. I’m sure they know what their doing

And steak ! did you really think I could forget the steak
Relax, I brought some fags and coffee.
Reminds me of this gem, now let it be clear street dorii is bad. But calling them unskilled and not in control is just hilarious. Also 90% sure on a hill road that is most likely blocked by cars on the top and bottom with some spotters as they would also do in Japan on similar roads. At 2 am in the morning on a road…
Jeremy ? Is it really you ?
I kinda cheated on that one, I had read a breaking report on my BBC news app earlier today before posting this and before the post they put up on Jalopnik about it.
Someone went to the Jimmy Saville school for TV hosts
Edit: I giggled when I realised that this article is 2 posts above that 4th of July sale post that includes a deal on a magic wand.
When has the BBC ever been cunning ? Oh I dunno, maybe when one of their most popular hosts fiddled with girls there were higher-ups covering it up... Maybe more shrewd than cunning but it’s a valid example imho
Someone posted a reply in this thread to this exact same problem. The hybrid system and the software guiding the pantographs allow for the driver to merge out of lane and keep going on the batteries untill the engine needs to take over. Besides if they approve this for expansion to the 100 km stretch I imagine the 2nd…
Yes because motorways are so pretty without them.... This is not a system meant for use in cities or commercial hubs, that’s why the trucks have the hybrid system. For long haul on motorways it makes complete sense, besides this is just for the next 10-20 years or so a similar system but completely wireless is what I…
I imagine the fire department gets access to the junction box to cut the power and then just cuts the wires or maybe there’s some kind off release system for such events that allows quick disconnects.
.
From what I see and read it’s more akin with a pantograph from a train or tram where the pantograph connects with a wide metal bar that’s diagonally across the wires to insure the greatest possible contact surface. They also have hybrid gas and battery setup in case the connection fails.
True, but I don’t think they ever intended it to be a huge hit there, just more like might as well try and see if it sells
Well Japan has near perfect roadsurfaces, those guys don’t kid around when they see a pothole. So only driveable on perfect roads is kind off a mute point for it’s main market. Delivering some sort of groceries in a Japanese city and some fun in the hills on the side, that’s this car’s true calling.
That sweet rattle of the lever or that lovely electronic whine in the rear when it’s an electronic handbrake. So reassuring and such an automatic thing to do if you grow up on manuals like most Europeans do. Couldn’t imagine not doing it even in an a/t.
Well, makes you a smeghead doesn’t it :p
You forgot smeggin - Red Dwarf
Easy to save it from that state tho, just need one of these and a good bodyshop guy to paint it
Actually less serious accidents happen in Rugby compared to American football. The fact that players in the latter are actually wearing full armour has been shown to actually encourage silly tackles that end up in spinal injuries or neck snap, probably thinking “ I’m armoured wtf could happen to me”
Ah a proper explanation. Can’t believe the article states that it’s effectiveness was in doubt. Proper dazzle camo will screw your perception up quite bad if you’re trying to plot a torpedo or even as an artillery spotter on a anything with proper guns it had to be a nightmare to aim at a ship like that from certain…
