I was just there over Christmas break and it is true that the bay in Fajardo has pretty much been destroyed :-( However, we went to Vieques and the one there was still amazingly bright. They do not allow motor boats on the water there though, only kayaks.

Yeah, they don't have the copyright to those images... doesn't seem like a great idea...

discrimination

No, they don't have stores in California. Just the east coast. They are Giant, Stop & Shop and Martin's, depending on where you live.

Only if 170 stores makes it a local chain...

How does the first amendment go "beyond legality"? It is a law. You are making no sense. It is also totally legal for me to cuss you out on the internet, but it's not exactly a nice thing to do. Can you not understand the difference?

We'll, it's not really going to be four times as big because of compression. And if you have used one of the retina MacBooks you would know that it actually is a very noticeable difference. Not that I am advocating super HD porn though, that is pretty stupid.

I completely agree, but this is what people are outraged about? What about the fact that prisons are allowed to take all your food for the day, blend it up and bake it into a burnt, crispy brick. As long as it has the required nutrients it can be impossible to digest and taste like a dog's butthole for all the

Umm... I know you're probably not trying to be offensive, but in the context of what he wrote, your sexualization of him is kind of appalling.

Now playing

Just going to leave this video here that I made last week of me waking up a stingray and chasing it around:

Not sure I disagree with you, but you could equally say it's not your business if someone kills their two week old infant. At some point it ceases becoming a hypothetical baby and becomes an actual baby. What that point is, I don't think I really know.

a stunning accomplishment considering how the network has been practically gunning for the excellent sitcom's cancelation practically since episode one

So while the energy companies get richer and richer, you go broke slowly trying not to freeze to death.

It's 25% over a year, not per time.

Well they are using a representative national sample, which means that 70ish percent of the people surveyed would be white. Since most people are not middle class in the US though, the second part of your assumption is probably not correct.

You're basing that on the false idea that what is "natural" is always better. It's not natural to have running water or iPhones or live past the age of 30. It's natural to rape (animals do it all the time). It's natural to kill for territory or mates or anything that makes us mad. Fortunately, as humans, we are

Yeah, they are a bunch of assholes, but you don't have to take it out on the animals. I always feel weird in these kinds of discussions because it's like, yeah, PETA is obnoxious, but still people probably need to think about their relationships with meat...

I don't know about the rest, but they are definitely against leather. They are famous for their demonstrations against wearing fur.

That's a pretty bad example. Everything is resistant to penicillin now. If we hadn't continued spending millions of dollars in antibiotic research to come up with newer and better drugs, we would be screwed. Also a ton of people are allergic to penicillin (and latex).
