I've wondered the same. I'm in Canada, and I often wonder how these would work in my area where we will be in the -30C (sometimes worse) for a couple months of the year. Would the constant heating requirement destroy the battery range? am I only going to get 7 miles before the car dies because I needed to heat it

Good to know there are dealerships that will do the right thing IF you are diligent enough to not allow them to screw you first.

This. I like the idea of it, but they just waaaay undershot the exterior design. There is absolutely nothing interesting about the way this car looks, and to me that is a critical flaw. This just doesn't make me want it by looking at it, and I can't even really explain why.

you're thinking of it in one dimension. The patch may not get any wider, depending on your tire tread, but under inflating will make it longer. There is definitely more tread on the ground than fully inflated. In addition to conforming easier to objects. It's really both.

In -40C this week I let my truck warm up for ~15 minutes, got in and the oil temp still hadn't even budged. When I pulled away from my driveway I was bouncing around because of the flat spot frozen in the tires. Takes a few minutes of driving to even get the tires smooth, another 10 before my oil temp gauge reaches

This is frustrating. Clearly people that say you don't need to warm up your car do not live anywhere where it's actually cold. Do you need to let it run if you live in Texas? probably not.

It's decided. These pictures have done it. I must have one.

Ha ha! Uncle Doug is just kidding, of course. In fact, this story begins in September 2011, when I was playing around at work on AutoTrader.com. This was my usual activity, when I was at work. Some guys were good with Excel. Some guys were good with Powerpoint. Some guys gave good speeches; other guys were good

Summer tires in winter = Bad

My office is in a strip mall type complex, and on the end is a "tuner shop". All this shop really does is truck accessories. There are always at least 10 bro trucks parked out front. I have to look at this garbage every... day. They basically all stand out there hoping someone comes by and asks them about it. The

THIS!!! SO MUCH THIS!!

I hope the Andrew Scott rumour is true. His Moriarty is easily my favorite TV villian of all time. He is incredible.

I had a brown one. Sadly not a manual though. Gahd i miss that car.

Agreed! Ive since owned some vehicles that didnt match up sizes with Nokians but I buy them if i have the option without question.

I didn't know I wanted one of these until I saw this picture. Thank you for spending my future money.

it's not new, but I had a 1984 AMC Eagle Wagon. That thing was unstoppable, especially after putting some Nokian studded winter shoes on it. I would pull stuck half tons out of the ditch with that thing. For 20k, you could probably get one and have someone make it more amazing haha.

Looks like a Lambo with the sun in it's eyes.

Those are not exactly logical steps. It's one thing if it's a checkpoint where they are stopping to check valid licences and insurance. Only takes a few seconds, and maybe they're looking for a serial killer you don't know about that recently stole a car? The two steps you refer to as "logical" are clear and present

I don't want the longhorn stuff, but I want that colour!
