I like a slow movie, but Ex Machina was needlessly slow. Too many lingering shots with little to no visual or emotional impact. It was pretty late and I was tired when I saw it, but it wasn’t that which had me nodding off at points.

I really don’t get the love for Ex Machina. It was an okay movie, I guess, and full of fine performances, but it’s not even in my top ten for the year.
