I enjoy Super Metroid to a point but I wish it wasn’t in the finale block every time. Like, Metroid is a fun game and all but after a point it becomes a boring and predictable run.

It was definitely frustrating this year to see overall good energy get completely killed by bad comments from the couch. Some of these guys act as though there’s a chance for a new WR on every run when in reality this is just a showcase. People need to learn to chill.

I find it amazing that to make this work at all, he had to rig up a custom cartridge with an *entire extra processor* that’s actually doing the graphics. Even with that, the Gameboy can’t do bitmap graphics, so he still has to translate those graphics into tiles and work with the limitations of its weird palette…

I agree wholeheartedly with this. I loved the first Mirror’s Edge, played through it countless times, but felt more and more irritated the further I got into Catalyst.

Nah, I’m just an asshole with time on his hands and a cause. That, and I get particularly rankled when it’s someone with a disability who gets victimized. I was born with a hearing impairment and I technically qualify as disabled, but I’ve never really needed it because it’s been easy for me to compensate for that…
