That plan is way over $100 a month. The 50mb is not part of the basic speed boost or whatever they call it.

Last time I tried the site it was overloaded, but seems to be working now. Unfortunately they are missing one of our cable providers and the speeds are wrong. Comcast does 50mb here and has for some time now.

There are some things that just shouldn't change and I view the url bar just like the bar that shows you what folder you're in (/var/log/tmp/.../ for example).

My old work laptop was the same way, but if I would hibernate it rather than shutdown it cut the boot time by like 75%.

Like many of us said when the iPad hit, this thing's entire purpose is to trap you in the store. I would bet money this is the first in many changes they have planed. Hopefully the backlash will get them to change their tune.

You're better off with a good double din like an AVIC and hang a usb off it. Sure putting a tablet in there is cool and all, but really, it's not worth the hassle. I went with a 4200DVD, love it, and I'm kind of a bass head ;)

I'm not sure what Comcast is now, I think 3 is a speed boosted speed in a higher than average tier though. Wow is 1mb out (unless you wanna pay another $20 a month) and ATT was around here too last I checked.

We are talking about hosted boxes, you can't run a VPN server off of a web hosting account ;)

That isn't a VPN service, it's software... On a related note, I would love to know where you can get hosting for <$20 a month. Toss a 1 in front of that for a box on 100mb.

In the upper right just left of the side bar is a button "switch to..." which changes it to look more like the old system with little snippets for each article and what not.
