Fire up a VM and get to installing Arch. You'll quickly remember why you abandoned it.

As much as you can afford.

It really depends on the intent. An app that uses gamification to encourage you to eat healthy or to exercise better or to keep learning is a good thing. It is somewhat justified. The fact that you are being "tricked" into it can be forgiven when you look at the end result.

Gamification as a marketing strategy is a bad thing.

The whole tipping mentality bothers me. I would really prefer if waitstaff got commission based pay. Be honest and straightforward, raise your prices by 20%. Don't just tack on the (20% gratuity added to all checks). Then, based on how much food the server sells, give them their 20%.

I use the same scale. I tip 10% for poor service. Bad service gets no tip and a talk with a manager.

Your employer is legally obligated to provide you a minimum working wage. If your wage+tips to not meet the legal requirement, your employer must cover the difference.

In some restaurants, the server does more work for that $5 salad. I bussed at a few where the waitstaff assembled the salads for their own tables.

When I returned to Skyrim, I found tons of mods advertising "Lore Friendly" like it meant something. I'm pretty sure I encountered some mods that in no way could have affected lore by any stretch of the imagination advertising that.

I do this and I've been happy with the results. I'm on my second belt. My first was made with a buckle from my previous belt which had delaminated. Finding another buckle for the belt proved to be problematic, so I had to start over. This round I went with the loop and snap category with a standard issue buckle.

Yes, I know this. The real problem with these "sandbox survival" games is the environment is trivial to survive and players are left with few options to entertain themselves.

I give these guys props for accepting that nobody cares about zombies in a griefing simulator.

I was basing the 20z of cheese off of the site saying 1/2 cup of cheese per pack. 1/2 cup is 4 oz, and I assumed that a half cup of shredded cheese would likely weight about half as much. I know that 1/2 cup is 4oz by volume, but cheese is pretty even for volume and weight and I felt it was a fair guestimate.

I like to request that interviewers stay on topic when they ask such questions.

OK, lets think about it for a second... as packaged a single serving of this would amount to about 1 ounce of grain, 2 ounces of tomato sauce, and 2 ounces of cheese. That is half a serving of grain, 1/2 of a serving of vegetables, and 2 servings of cheese. The food pyramid isn't the greatest source of info for

This makes me sad...

I do IT work for a Jeweler. They have a very interesting business. I got a company discount on my engagement ring. I'm pretty sure they still made a tidy profit off of my business.

This is usually what keeps me awake as well. I do appreciate that the problem gets solved, but I debate if the time is actually saved considering the lack of productivity some days due to lack of sleep.

I suffer from sleep issues. I can't quiet my internal monologue and spend too much time trying to solve problems.

Why would anyone play a 2d platformer Zelda game that wasn't Zelda II?
