I’m with ya. I hate it too, but technology is a double-edged sword. If well-meaning people can block your ability to record, so can people with an agenda or something to hade (corrupt police, government, etc).

So, if your local police department got the same sort of infrared emitter to prevent you from recording police activity, you’re cool with that, too?
