If it were $2600, I might buy it as a joke, get it disinfected and cruise around.

Up here in Ontario, I just paid CAD $1.77/l for 91 octane. That works out to CAD $6.69/gallon or USD 5.31/gallon. It’s not pretty.

History NEVER repeats itself. They’ll be fine.

I re-watched a bunch  of Seinfeld recently. The first 2 seasons weren’t the best but the later ones were pretty funny and mostly hold up.

Nerd.

As a chemist, I get a similar feeling when people say something is ‘chemical free’. Water is a chemical, air is a mix of gasses. Everything made of matter is a chemical or mixture of chemicals.

I want a Unimog 404 in the worst way but they are rare AND expensive.

“Dad, I need to take the generator and a jerry can with me to school this morning”.

When you think about it, whale oil is a renewable resource. Coal is too just on a muuuuuuch longer time scale.

We should all use electric vehicles, but we shouldn’t let companies mine lithium to make batteries for those vehicles.

Dana 18's are fairly plentiful. I had a T90/D18 behind a 307 small block making just under 200 hp/ 300 lbft. It handled that power very well.

No sane person would move to NJ.

Haha. I caught that too.

Hamilton is teeny tiny. You walk out onto the tarmac and climb stairs onto the plane.

Dear Jalopnik, please stop calling our provinces ‘providences’ this is the second time this week! We are not Rhode Island!!!!!

No. It is not.

If your date is attractive but stinky, put them across from you. If they smell nice but are ugly, next to you. Ugly and stinky is a no go.

There are plenty of adapters to put Jeep T90 behind a SBC. Then you can also get the overdrive unit for highway cruising. I wish this was still manual.

Haha. Something like that would eat at my soul. My sister and her family all wear mis-matched socks. I can’t do that even though it would save me all kinds of time pairing my socks from the laundry. I’m no neat-freak or super into organization (as my garage attests) but for some reason asymmetry gets to me.

I have seen quite a few bad engineers come and go. We had a supplier describe one as ‘a danger to himself and others’. He didn’t last very long.
