I know Auto Lenders here in the Northeast does pre-owned leasing. I’m surprised CarMax has not yet jumped on the bandwagon. Though I suspect they will soon.

Good point...I couldn’t see the window sticker on the ‘14 to really compare, but it seemed fairly well loaded. Either way, seems like the ‘14 CPO lease could be a good option for some people.

I was able to deduct the sales tax of the car I bought in 2015. I don’t think the vehicle has to be for business purposes to get that deduction.

Here is how I understand it. If you have one job, your miles from your home to your job and back are “commuting” no deduction. Now if you normally have to be at one location, but your job tells you to go to different locations you can deduct the expenses from your main-office location to the other locations. Read more

As far as I know, if you get reimbursed you cannot use it as a deduction.

Glad to help...though if things get complicated, I do reccomend consulting with a tax proffesional. Often, they make up for their fee with your refund and you can deduct their fee as an expense next year!
