"She's from Canada"

This seems to be the right place for this question: I have a sink as part of an outdoor kitchen/patio. Last year I just drained the lines, but this year I want to be a bit safer and blow them out. It shouldn't take much. Will a Shop Vac work? I've been looking around for fittings but can't seem to find anything.

A bit OT, but does anyone have a link to a *real* hands-on review of the Kindle Fire? I can't seem to find a good in-depth review of someone putting it through its paces.

"Cashman, shave those sideburns! ... hippie."

I'm in . . . or should I wait for a 3G version . . . or should I wait for the 9 inch coming in January . . . UGH.

That's a good one. I need to amp up my game. My kids leave cookies for santa and carrots/cheerios for the reindeer, and I have made sure that I leave a few cookie crumbs on the table and some half-eaten carrots on the lawn. But I like your idea, assuming I have some snow. I wanted to leave soot footprints from the

This. You are so right about innocence and letting our kids experience some magic before it is too late. She'll figure out soon enough that the picture is not real, or will simply forget about it. And guess what? When she does figure it out, or looks back years from now, she'll think — actually she'll KNOW — that

I actually like the idea of having the charm thing, or something similar, but not the way it is implemented here. They used to sell these things for your car (maybe they still do) but I could never get one because they didn't work with Verizon. It would sit on your dash and would light up or flash when you got a

I'm going to quit my job and start a propane tank business. I'm sure there's a market for this kind of thing — imagine MLB, NFL or college football licensed tanks.

I was thinking the same thing. But then I was thinking that it would only last a month or 2 before I would have to turn it in for an exchange.

That shows that the person who "found" it didn't know what they had, which leads me to believe that the form factor isn't going to change much.

Agreed. Better safe than sorry. I know I wish it had "fizzled" more. I would have had electricity for the past 36 hours and would not be searching for a 6000 watt generator so this never happens again!

Agreed on PowerAmp. Much better than doubletwist. And PowerAmp's devs have been very responsive to customer feedback, which in turn has made an even better product.

I'd like to know how many people got the free app that day, and then uninstalled. I know I've done that many times. A paid app is free so I'll try it out. A few minutes later after I'm not impressed or don't think I'll need it, I'll uninstall. Or I'll download and never use it. I guess my point is that *maybe*

Wow. Poor kid. I'd donate some $$ towards a better pool. I'd also represent her and her other class members. What state?

Come on Verizon, show the Incredible some love.

Is there volume control on the unit?

I actually installed the APK then uninstalled it because there was no button to update my apps. It showed that there was an update available, but then only gave me the options to open or uninstall. Droid Incredible.
