Has anyone received the new market update yet? I'm talking over the air, not via the APK download that was on the site a week ago. Just wondering.

Why can't I see any of the discussion thread?

Just sent. Thanks!

I have an extra. See link below to first who uses it. Was going to try to trade for a Google+, but I don't care that much.

Thanks. I'm starting to realize that unless I want to install hard-wired speakers on my patio, I'm not going to find what I'm looking for . . . at least in my price range. The sonos system seems like it may fit the bill for me, even if it isn't weatherproof. I assume that I'll have to buy the bridge as well, though.

This. I mentioned in another post that I would love for Giz to do a "summermodo" post on outdoor speakers. I've bought and returned a ton, with no real luck. Are Sonos speakers like this portable? Can I just plug it in as long as I'm on my wifi network?

Thanks! Hopefully I can ever return the favor some day.

So I installed the APK this morning, and a little while later one of my apps had an update. The problem was that there was no "Update" button. There was just "open" or "uninstall." I thought maybe I did something wrong, and uninstalled the market update. Once I did that, I could install the app update with no

The Engadget article on the new market has a link to download the APK. Worked like a charm.

Terrible. The Today show said that he went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance. I assume it was related to the fall, but who knows. They said he was talking and moving his arms right after the fall.

Not in mine this morning, either. Do you need to be running Chrome or something?

This is a really good tip that should be in the main story. I always "torch" the flue right before lighting my kindling. If you have a home that's pretty airtight, or if it is very cold outside, or very windy, that smoke is going to come right back into your living room unless you warm up the flue.

I'd love for you guys to do a summer feature on weatherproof/backyard speakers. I've purchased and returned a few different sets for around the patio and pool, and still cannot find what I'm looking for.

My catalogue is not nearly as big as some of yours — my 16 gb microsd is way more than enough. So there's no need to stream to my handset. But I do like the idea of being able to access my music from any desktop. I'm using Google Music Beta, although on my handset I use PowerAmp as my music player. I take it from

I questioned the need for the Amazon App Store, but now I check every morning to see what the free app of the day is. I get such happiness out of the free paid apps, even though I'm saving only $0.99 most of the time. The paid Soundhound was free too, I think.

Looks like it just has to be a perforated roller.

This is how a horse gets beaten. To death.

I don't disagree with you re: Privacy being valuable. I would be pissed if my locations were being surreptitiously tracked by Apple, even if the info, in my mind, is useless. But I do believe that we knowlingly trade in some of our privacy expectations when we purchase the smart phone or log on to facebook (or this

So if I lose my phone, what? The thief can know that I went to Disney in October? Someone knowing my past locations is the least of my worries if I lose my phone.

Yeah, I've heard that, but choose not to refer to it as the Dink. I already have enough unknowledgeable people that are down on the phone, without having a name like that: Them: "Oh, is that an iPhone??!! Can I see it??!" Me: "No, it's the Incredible." Them, with disappointment and pity in their voice: "Oh,
