Not fairy fairy. Fairy as in, like a fairytale. Because in fairytales, the dragons always lose.

THERE WERE NEW POKEMON IN THAT VIDEO. AHHH. AHHHH. AHHHHHHH. Today has been pretty good.

Surely though, they've just neglected to reveal ALL of the retyped Pokemon.

I'm somewhat curious as to how all of this advertising malarkey can be made without the name leaking before the announcement.

Well blimey, I just looked it up and I'm a little bit upset now.

Cringed pretty hard at the 360 no-scope joke, and the Skyrim joke. Also, Lone Ranger confirmed? Seemed like it in the "Best Card Trick" part.

Two thoughts;

People are awful.

First of all, thank you for acknowledging my claim. Second of all, really what Nintendo should have done if they wanted to honor the anniversary is to put out a collection like Kirby got. A little section for history, maybe some challenge stages, and then a couple of games. Sure, Kirby got 6, including an N64 Kirby.

Oh you knew what I meant. I'm not trolling, not intentionally, but I'm sorry if I came across that way.

But there's a difference between a new coat of paint and a totally changed being. I'm excited for Windwaker, but with 3D games they have the original, high res forms to work with, and they don't have to change the art style.

Important FYI, eating sushi off of naked people is a fast and expensive way to contract food poisoning. It's also not exotic or foreign in the slightest. (Well the food is from Japan but the rest of the 'ritual' is garbage). I'd imagine not many Kotaku-ites would seek this service, but I hope I spare trouble to those

People in my age range love the originals though! We've just played Flash rips till our fingers our numb. I just wanted to experience that original goodness, without having to digital download some silly thing, or torrent and emulate it.

It has echos because lord knows the original soundtrack was a bit dull. The echos really touch it up. Really, they weren't classics before. Ugh.

And the only sacrifice was the look, sound, and subsequently feel of games that have been heralded as some of the best this world will ever know. Why don't we touch up the Mona Lisa while we're at it. She looks a bit grim.

Speaking of Wii Marios, was I the only one who didn't know that "Super Mario All-Stars" was redone versions of the first few games, and wasn't simply the original games. And that it was also merely a port of the 1993 one?

I would be totally ok with vaguely resembling Ryan Gosling.

Now where's Zoo Tycoon. . .

I'm willing to put that in with Red sun. Christ, I spelled sun wrong. I'm losing my mind.

Sins they missed and things they got wrong.
