In Grand Rapids, they realized it was easier to give simple instructions than to call it a zipper merge. There is a sign a mile before the lane ends that says “Use both lanes to merge point” and then where the lane ends is a sign saying “Merge Here” in big bold letters. It actually worked, which is shocking.

You do realize that the great lakes contain 20% of the worlds freshwater, and detroit is right on one. Not to mention, its impossible to be more than 6 miles from a river/stream/body of water in Michigan.

Screw all of that. For a Zombie breakout, I’ll take Detroit. Population is quite low for its size in the first place, so you won’t have as many zombies to deal with and they’ll be more spread out, and if you stay downtown you can use the people mover to get between buildings without ever touching the ground.
