Haken’s Vector is one of my favorites this year for sure, and deserves a mention. I think “metal” is too broad a term for this narrow a definition.

Davidson has a little bit of a charm though when he breaks, in part because he’s often said that he prefers to write but they make him be in sketches.

Certainly a big issue, but I’m glad Jez didn’t shy away from including a couple of women who were accused of similar behavior. It really helps drive home that it’s not just isolated to one gender (though clearly heavily lopsided), and Hollywood has a major problem that could affect anyone.

Yeah, I never get the hate for Ross. He’s pompous and arrogant at times, but he’s a character steeped in tragedy. Not to mention, everytime he acts dick-ish, he gets taken down a peg. I’m sorry to hear that. I got to see them in 2012 touring with Periphery (who I also subsequently got into) and it was a great show. They were very casual, but didn’t compromise on any of the technicality in their songs. I hope you get the chance to see them!

It sounded to me like Stairmasternem LIKED the daylight, and disliked how most cyberpunk stuff focuses on the night stuff constantly, or as they put it, “all the friggin time”. They said they were in, even on those semi-simple bits, too.
