String of lefties and the fact that Price started the inning at 66 pitches and ended his day around what, 90? I’d like to think I’d have done things a little differently if I were Gibbons, but having faith in Price to work out of that wasn’t the stupidest thing in the world.

This Oddibe better publicized.

I use “minimal hosts blocker”. It’s solid!

2003 ALCS, game 7. I was a relatively new Sox fan (jumped on around ’01, junior in high school), so while it was a gutpunch, it was a little unearned for me.

It’s not like you gotta send a batboy into Mordor to make it happen, either. All it takes is a little conversation with the umpire (presumably, the crew chief) and that’s that.

You can’t go back in time, playwise

It’s interesting that you mention the NHL suspending to injuries. Saturday night between periods at the B’s/Habs game, NESN had Patrick Burke (Director of Player Safety) on to talk about the process and such behind it.

And for anyone really wanting to get into it, here’s the fantastic wiffleball documentary Yard Work.

Does android not have some form of iOS staple Activator?

It's like deciding which child I love more - Salt & Vinegar kettle chips are where it's at.

This needs more love, +1

Honestly, I like the pitch clock, so long as it doesn't get in pitchers' heads. So long as it stays "[...]more effective as a tool to remind pitchers how long they're taking than as a strict deterrent," I'm cool with it; and this is coming from a guy who LIKES devoting 3.5 hours a night, 7 nights a week to baseball.

I really feel like I should check in here.

Alex + Ada needs to be on this list somewhere. It feels like you're waiting forEVER between issues (and god knows the Luna Brothers aren't exactly flooding the marketplace), but in just 7 short issues, it's really set a world.

I'm in a job where I'm lucky enough to not have to attend too many meetings, but once in awhile, I get roped into a video conference call.

PREACH IT on couscous. It can be bland if you just get it plain and make it, but those Near East boxes are pretty flavorful for easy mode and just bulk couscous is a fantastic canvas for whatever other flavors you got.

I love the idea and even more, I love the logo.
