Wrong....The crew only has one code. That in itself isn’t enough to launch a missile. Even a launch order from the president has to be authenticated. Without that, the missile can’t even be programmed for a target.

They can’t. There are sealed authenticators from different sources that must match before you can even program the missile’s target. Without that, it won’t launch. How do I know this?? I had to do it and go through the nuke weapons authenticator training.
