Agreed. My wife works construction quality for a State DOT. A lot of times it looks like she's just standing around watching people work, but what she's actually doing is standing around making sure people do the work in the way they were contracted to do it. While it may look like she is wasting taxpayer money, she's

As you said, the difference between painted and unpainted is huge. Koenigsegg has the same issue, but when 60% of orders for the Agera R came in "paintless," they decided to make them all "paintless-ready." When you go unpainted, all the weaves have to line up perfectly, which is a really big deal and takes a lot more

I forget which show I saw this information on, but my understanding is that when a car is painted they don't take the time to align the carbon weave perfectly as evidenced by this quote by Car and Driver:

I agree. F1 has always been about pushing to new levels of engineering around the rules. This is how new technology is invented. Its outside thinking within the confinds of the rules that some of the greatest technology is invented.

Sure we can understand your position, but that doesn't mean it's an over-rated road. That means it is actually a terrifying and challenging road, none of that equates to being over-rated. I'm surprised and disappointed that it made it into the list.

I can't help thinking Jeremy was involved making this video, due to the Phil Collins.

Sure, it's bad, but the person that you should really have sympathy for is his doppelgänger from another dimension, Rashad Finger.

he pilot didn't "charge" anything. No money changed hands. He didn't even give the guy a chance to pull his wallet out..."It doesn't matter" and he turned around. Nice how we can just take things out of context and crucify this guy for volunteering his time and skill. Found this post over on liveleak:

Oh sweet Jesus.

It's crazy how many car movies Ron Howard has been involved in. I'm surprised no one has nominated American Graffiti yet, but I guess that one is pretty well known.

Baron, you have so many cool choices of cars out there now. It really is neat what's going on with entry-level cars. Good luck on your search. There are a ton to choose from. Try them all, from Kia to Ford. I had a blast in a rental Fiesta SE with the PowerShift and Sync. All for like $16,000 or something like that.

Damn it now I can't root for Kimi due to my unreasonable hatred for Ferrari.

Aww man, something about this video is just so German. Just a couple of dudes (read:one of the worlds best engineers) meeting at the ring on a sunny morning, doing nothing more than lapping the ring a couple of times, celebrate for about 8 seconds and then drive back home where they start working on something even

And here, in the English countryside, we see a rare and magnificent sight. The mass mating of the British hatchbacks. Hatchbacks from old to new gather once every couple of years under the fog to mate. They search for their partners in the fog and then proceed to force their way towards them, a risky but worthy

Yes, I have one. That picture is of my car.

Dry humping Cousins really isn't that unusual in Tennessee.

Pretty sure that's a Lambeau, dude.

this one is in England. i think that was the second most used colour after silver on the xj220

944 is more unique, super cheap to insure (collector plates!) and if you're interested in LS swaps, it can become a true supercar. Keep the 944 and get a new daily...

Of all your stories about people not watching baseball, this is the worst.
