ICE has always been “on the case”...they were just called INS before 20 years ago.  The penalty for illegally crossing our borders has always been deportation...just like in practically every other country on Earth.

Capriciously passing a law that affects American citizens is a complete false equivalency to enforcing immigration laws that have been on the books for decades.  

So talking about the government enforcing immigration laws that have been on the books for decades = Nazi. Gotcha.

So wanting existing laws enforced = white supremacist?  Wow, talk about unhinged.

If you can establish discontinuity between the USSR’s space program and the Russian Federation’s space program, then sure. But the transition seems to have been pretty linear.
