If we still had classes in high school to teach skills (auto shop, carpentry, welding, FFA, econ, and probably more than I can think of) then more kids would be able to enter the workforce for a variety of jobs more easily! No spending money to go to welding school when they’ve already been trained in high school!

I’m all for job training and help for displaced workers, because there will be plenty coming with more automation, but people have to make decisions to benefit and improve their own lives and those of their families.
