no $10 every half hour of screen time chores vary in what they pay per chore. Or did you miss that?
no $10 every half hour of screen time chores vary in what they pay per chore. Or did you miss that?
What? And miss out on teaching them an important economic lesson? Why not have them do chores that each chore is worth a certain amount of money, that money can then be used to buy their own stuff or even screen time on a computer or TV or something else that they want, a Smart kid would realize that $10 every half…
Oh I know what it means, kinda hard not to with it having been rubbed and smeared in my face not only by the one job but by just about every place I go. I've actually had to correct some people who try to use it as an Adjective thinking it has the same meaning as it's more recently assumed definition when used as a…
Ranting is indeed the opposite of critical thinking, however the objects of ridicule in the rant as well as the stories of leaving a dead end job comprised mostly of liberal staff to higher paying and better jobs from Logitech to being a Med Tech are all true and sincere. Trust me going from a job that is basically…
""Critical Thinking" may sound like an obnoxious buzzword from liberal arts schools" Unfortunately Liberals don't use it or they would have seen the failures in their agenda coming a long ways away and would have better plans in place to sidestep these pitfalls. I have to use Critical Thinking all the time whether it…
I rarely use a shredder, when I do it's usually because one of two reasons, first is that my usual method of disposal isn't viable for one reason or another or 2 to help my usual method of disposal out. Typically I burn all sensitive material, shredding you can piece if back together, have yet to find someone who can…
Both Mospeda and Southern Cross were entirely sold to Harmony Gold in every conceivable way, Macross only had it's first distribution rights sold to Harmony Gold, Harmony Golds claim on the franchise is illegal and if challenged in courts would rapidly fall apart leaving them open to further lawsuits from other…
Am I the only one who is reminded of the 50-in-one and the 150-in-one kits RadioShack used to sell by looking at and reading about these things? I mean, they are pretty old and what not but they were just a bunch of components you hooked up by putting wires into springs. You know, the thing just below the laptop in…
Um, did you not see where I said that I use garlic instead of onion in the first post? And yes I know that Garlic is stronger than Onion and is not a 1:1 replacement ratio by volume. And Onion as a structure element? Never looked at it as such, then again once I found out it's the onion that does that to my body I…
I substitute Garlic for Onions whenever the recipe calls for it, mostly because I'm allergic to Onions. There are a few other ingredients I do not like and will substitute with others but the one I listed is the most common substitution I make.
Several Years Ago I worked for Logitech, still would be if they had not moved the call center forcing my career change to Medical Technologist, they are a great fun company to work for and though I didn't work in the harmony division which was at the other half of the building I still learned allot about them.…
Yeah two people I know carry epi pens and a dozen have the allergy though the symptoms vary from person to person. usually if a recipe calls for Onions I just substitute Garlic instead since I'm not allergic to that.
Allergic yes, and as a med tech I am well aware of what the word means in a much better understanding than you probably do unless you are a doctor specializing in allergies. The degranulation of Basophils to release histamine and an immune system attack of the substance typically with IgE antibodies. The vomitting…
I don't get it with garlic at all which is why I use it instead of Onion to flavor my food and the onset of symptoms takes a bit of time. The vomiting takes a few hours and the diarrhea kicks in about 24 hours later, the cramps start after just four hours and the constipation at around six hours.
Best onion for me: none I'm allergic to them in that they give me diarrhea constipation vomiting cramps and indigestion. Apparently it's a fairly common food allergy too as many people I know are likewise allergic to Onions and even have to carry epi pens with them when they go out to eat and avoid Mexican restaurants…
Actually Sony is the first to use Region free and encourage region free media I don't have to do any hacking to my PS3, PSP, or PS Vita to play a game made for any of them other than the Japanese Persona 4 but that was Atlus who did that not Sony. As far as region locking movies it wasn't done until the DVD so VHS,…
Well most people are moving to region free Nintendo is the last major bastion that supports region locking even though they are rapidly diminishing in size but then again tey will always support it because they are the ones that created it.
You can thank Nintendo for the creation of region locking, it was aprt of the crackdown they did in the third generation of home consoles and became a standard of how to keep piracy and unlicensed material off certain systems it was later adopted as a means of censorship. However many companies such as Sony and…
Slow cookers are awesome for a variety of things, after all slowly cooking things often make then tender and allow for extra flavors to soak into them. Ribs, Roasts, and tough meats especially.
Reminds me a joke my black brother in-law says to his co-workers. He tells them he has a life like tatoo of Obama, many of them have asked to see it he says it's on his ass with the mouth right where his anus is, that way whenever the mouth opens the shit spews forth.
