A couple of years ago I bought an engine:
I mean was quality control non-existent in the 70's?! I’ve never seen I firewall on a firebird/camaro that is this bad.
Just because the truck is almost 50 years old doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to pull its on weight.
Hello Oppo, I haven’t done much posting in the last 3-4 years. That is because i’ve been very busy working most of that time (and that I haven’t really felt I’d have anything to write about).
Seen at a car show in Rapid City about a month ago.
Sup Oppo? Been a long time since I posted something on here but I’ve been lurking in the dark for quite some time now I thought now might be a good time to step back into the light.
Remember when cars where fun and affordable? When big tires, lumpy cams and something protruding from the hood was TUFF and not at all considered tacky? Before the days of over-restored, date coded, numbers matching, museum quality investment pieces that they are now? The boring, dust collections sitting in climate…
They fit!!! Well, sorta... Also shameless photodump below!
Guess what? She made a new friend!
I fucking love watching Street Outlaws! Sure it's probably a little bit staged but the cars are real. And after watching that stupid Sonoma absolutely destroying Lutz's 6-second 57' Chevy, I am convinced that it is the fastest, technically road legal car in the wuuurld. Get it?! The fastest car in the world is a…
Earlier today; "Weeee, this is ridiculous amounts of fun! Best winter beater ever! ... Hey, what's that smell?, and where is all that blue smoke coming from?"
Let's face it; Just spinning one tire during a burnout has never been particularly exciting nor cool. So what do you do if you (like me) want to experience some full posi action but don't have the economy for it? Why you weld the diff, of course! As explained in this video, it comes with almost no drawbacks…
I now have it! Yesterday I drove half across the country to buy a Pontiac 389 (GTO engine) in need of some work. The plan is to restore this engine beside my 350 that sits in the birdie. Then when time comes for the 350 to finally blow, I'll just lift in this one and continue rocking.
Only better; Because turbo! Y'all Initial D fanboys can suck it!!! :P
Just look at those shaker scoop physics!
This here is a Poncho 389, currently on sale in Sweden for 4500 SEK (650 USD). It's been sitting for 6 years (inside thankfully).
I'm a terrible decision maker... Also, would anyone happen to know where the VIN is located on the frame of an early '90s GM B-body?
Goddammit!, now I really want one of these too!
