It's probably a corruption of "could've," a contraction of "could have."

Yes and no. I love those types of games, but I'm not really sure what Zelda would add over any other Metroidvania-style game. I kind of like the idea of Metroidvania influence though—one thing Zelda could do to shake it up a little bit would be to ditch the idea of individual dungeons and have the entire game take

For me, they're the same experience, just different takes on how to get there. The 2D Metroids focus solely on the physical exploration of a place, while the Prime games expand that a little to include exploring all the information behind the physical place. I thought the scanning was a good addition to the Prime

Is it just me, or are there magnifying glasses on only the ones I can read without enlarging them? Because the ones I have trouble reading don't have magnifying glasses... :(

It seems to me like it would be a lot easier for Bioware to sue on the theory that it infringes their copyright in the original Tali. I'm not aware of any caselaw saying that just because this is a derivative of the fan art that it can't infringe on the original. It seems to be substantially similar, and it doesn't

The comparison I really want to see is Bioshock Infinite and (the movie) Looper. Spoilers for both follow.

Oh, I'm sorry! I assumed from your comment that you had played it. Although in retrospect I guess that would make a bit more sense why you didn't think anything was a spoiler.

Oh, in that case I'll probably put it off anyway. I have an old 360 and my hard drive space is kind of at a premium—I might have to delete some things to make room for a 2GB install...

There's some video from the very end of the game—I guess for some people that might not be a spoiler because it doesn't give away a plot twist, but I probably wouldn't have wanted to see it if I was avoiding spoilers.

If I installed whatever update it asked me to install (360 version), will that install the extended cut? Or do I have to go download it separately?

Well, a lot of time criticism like this is a sign that you're doing something well (or at least that you've made a step in the right direction). Nothing is ever perfect, so you can't take a lack of criticism to mean that it was good. If your game is pointless or muddled and confusing, there's nothing that really

Thanks! I'll probably try to get around to it eventually—I'd feel kind of wasteful if I didn't. I'm fairly contrarian on post-KotOR Bioware games in that I feel like I rank them in the opposite order most people do, so chances are I'll end up loving the ending or something like that.

I own ME3, but still haven't gotten around to playing it because I was pretty "meh" on 2. I think pretty much the opposite that you do about the whole "stop the Reapers" thing, at least in 2. For me, that just made the game feel vague and aimless ("Mass Effect 2, where everything is a sidequest and the plot doesn't

My thoughts exactly! Except I down own a 3DS or Vita yet...I'd prefer a XBLA/PSN title. :(

Thanks for posting that, exactly what I thought of when I saw the box art!

There are legitimate defenses to gun ownership, but "guns don't kill people, people kill people" is not one. Just because guns don't become sentient and kill people on their own doesn't mean there shouldn't at least be restrictions on gun ownership. Cars don't kill people spontaneously, but we don't let people drive

The whole issue of gun control is kind of stupid.

Maybe, but aren't there better ways to encourage people to connect their Durangos to the Internet without requiring an always-on Internet connection? You could require an Xbox Live account to set up your Xbox, but allow you to play games offline. You could make setting up the Internet connection part of the console

I'm not sure what your aim is, but I think you may have missed my point...I'm not defending the American school system, heh.

Well, that's unfair because they don't teach that in most schools (at least to my knowledge). They do teach American history in American schools. So it's a bit more reasonable to expect that people should know something about it.
