I would like to co-sign ALL of this comment. Preach!

Blind dogs have a precious place in my heart; if I weren't moving (and assuming this poor beagle-mix is near D.C.), I'd foster it in a second. Thank you for helping special needs animals.

Fight on, tx.anne, and thank you for this comment. The first thing I thought of when I saw this headline was how some people can't help being slow because of illness and injury. I came about that awareness the hard way; while I was so impatient as a baby that I skipped crawling and went straight to walking (and used

RIP Dirty Girl and ZuZu. I can't imagine how hard it is to lose two pets in as many weeks. May their memory be a blessing. I love cars almost as much as I love dogs and you write about both beautifully.

My first dog was a German Shepherd-wolf hybrid. He could stop traffic, he was so beautiful. I had purebred German Shepherds after losing him and while they were wonderful dogs, there was something special about my 100+ lb lap wolf. Your Blue was gorgeous and I am horrified at how he was taken from you. And then the

Whoever is chopping onions in here needs to stop. What a poem.

90% of my wardrobe is J.Crew and my parents are from South India. I'm not just "non-white", I'm a very dark brown. I don't think a day has passed in the last five years when I haven't worn J.Crew.

Books. My go-to shower gift. I usually give the ones I loved as a child.

Wow, you're really...invested...rosiedublin. I don't know if Kookla is a FAN-iston, but your fierce devotion to Angelina and her love life is admirable.

Aw. That's wonderful. :)

cathemeral.cat, I have tears in my eyes after reading your comment. I am so sorry. What you went through is horrifying. It's not your fault your dog was harmed, you did the best you could with a terrible situation. I have nothing but compassion and admiration for you. <3

Chipolte probably is great. ;) Chipotle is often mediocre (and it saddens me, because I'm desperate for good burritos and go there often).

I've had Chipotle burritos on both coasts (I'm from CA, live in D.C.). I can almost never eat them vertically because they are sloppily stuffed and barely rolled. And that's the way they've been for me for the last 11 years. :(

I think this is a bit of a reach. As soon as the page loaded, I was confused. I turned to my bored puppy and said, "Jenna thinks THAT is a copy of the fug Gucci shmatha?" No. I don't see it (neither did the puppy). And though I've studied fashion on and off for many years, I don't think one would need to know anything

Ah, so you're the *one* watching it. ;)

Croc flip flops are super comfy (weirdly sized, though). I was vaguely negative towards the entire Crocs phenomenon until I became temporarily...well, handicapped. I wore an awful cast on my right lower leg for two months and have gratefully "graduated" to croc mary janes— because now I have to wear a brace at all

@lolly71: That is my favorite Jezebel comment of all time.

Too lippy!
