Have you seen the Mosasaurus sequence from the recent Jurassic Park game? Pretty thrilling (even if the game itself isn't that great), and I really love the how the creature itself looks.

Yeah, turns out we were wrong - he was pretty great, as was the movie as a whole.
They're saving "Monsters: The Yellow Plague" for the third film.
"Yawn with excitement" - haha, nice. Yeah, this is exactly what's wrong with this movie. What's meant to be the meat of the story is empty and dull.
I felt that the final monster scene was them sharing the energy gathered from the gas station, rather than mating. Even though both creatures were probably starved for…
I was disappointed with Monsters over all, but I did really like the gas station scene, where the creatures display tenderness and caring towards each other. Like you said, they're not truly monsters. I did enjoy that aspect of the film at least.
I was just commenting on how little I liked Monsters in the Godzilla review article: http://io9.com/this-godzilla-…
"...this Godzilla doesn't give us enough monster action to make up for the droopy human plot."
Which was exactly my issue with the movie that got Gareth Edwards this job. Many seem to have a positive opinion of 2010's Monsters, but I can't understand why. Before seeing it, I'd heard it described as "A road movie that…
I just want to say, I like that it was specifically an ocelot's jaws. Starred.
I hope Optimus will be a responsible pet owner and give Grimlock some robot cuttlefish to gnaw on and grind down those chompers. Look at that pained expression, this is clearly a robotic animal in distress.
I already hate it when online materials aren't included on DVDs. I admit I haven't had more than a quick glance at Pacific Rim's extras menu, but I didn't spy trailers or any of the online featurettes (like that cool primer on The Drift) listed. Also, whether you liked Prometheus or not, it had some great trailers,…
Wouldn't a picture of King Kong be more appropriate? I'll forgive you though, because my God[zilla], there's only five days left til he destroys my local cinema.
Exactly, what is the goddamn point in blocking it? They don't want to promote the film outside of America? Makes no sense.
A couple of seconds later, they all realized you must have been watching the same thing that they all had been a minute ago. Everyone grinned and exchanged across-the-room air-fives, before getting back to watching movie trailers work.
THE WORLD WILL BE WATCHING
BUT ONLY THE ONE TIME
Well, that's exactly right for me. At this point of my life I don't have time to rewatch movies I just 'liked enough' - it's just a handful of faves that I revisit, like you said. In the past I'd watch things like Independence Day if I caught it on TV - and enjoy it - but I've actually just cancelled my pay TV…
I do the same, and not just with movies - I tend to listen to my absolute favorite songs less than I listen to non-faves. The idea is the same as it is for movies - I don't want to ruin their 'specialness' by becoming overly familiar with them. It's weird, I know. But I personally find it kinda weird that some people…
That's using your dome, could be right.
I love dinosaurs. I love robots. I don't love this design.
Thank God we never got a fifth season, because do you remember them teasing that she was actually a triplet? We would have got a third separate entity played by Ali Larter. They set it up ahead of time just in case they actually did decide to kill off the ice-powered sister for good at some point in the future. They…
