I assume that there is a bunch of earlier sets that feature the characters you'd expect. I've seen sets based on other franchises that have done this.

It should be noted that the top picture is actually from the serial novel "Evangelion Anima", a completely separate entity from the movies, though many of the elements introduced in Anima actually made it into 3.0.
Yeah, the DVD/BD was set to hit the western world in March, but that's apparently been pushed back due to "theatrical demand". I think the resurgence in 3.0 'news' is due to it being circulated more widely in (mainly American?) cinemas now.
Personally I'm annoyed that the home release has been put back, as I've already…
Fellow nerd at 0:47 in his Eva T-shirt ("Shinji, Rei Asuka & Mari"). No doubt he's imagining he's running across Leliel's shadow body.
I've never listened to the commentary, but it seems to be ridiculed by the part of the fan base most in touch with Anno's mindset and influences. If you want to try getting another, probably more 'correct' understanding, I think spending some time on the likes of EvaGeeks' forum is the best way.
Vader's transformation is by far the best joke in here, I roared when I saw it. Awesome reference.
I've never seen Six Feet Under (though I sorta want to, mainly due to Michael C Hall), but that is a pretty incredible - yet simple - design for a box set. Is it seriously flocked on the top? Wow.
Why in the flying fruck is this not a movie yet?!! It's not that much more ridiculous a concept than Transformers and the likes.
Godzilla has some fun viral stuff going on. Head to mutoresearch.net, click to access the terminal, close the trailer that'll pop up and start typing in words. Try names - actors (eg; Ken Watanabe), characters, monsters... Sometimes you'll trigger a little video (all of which can be viewed here if you'd rather save…
Your daughter must be precious.
I have these Eva stamps. They're nice.
"Hmm, it won't take long to track down those sailors. I'll just spend a little time on the toy capsule machines..."
Several hours later
"It's getting late. Ine-san will be worried..."
The dolls are really nice quality. At the store I work at we have some toys, and I was comparing the tiny, poorly painted boy's figures to the large, very nicely made MH dolls, as there was only a $3 difference between them. That was one of the 'lower-end' MH lines, but it was still really nice. I was like, "I know…

...Goddamn it, Kinja.
I threw the Japanese pronunciation around in my head too, as the arrangement of the words on the picture reminded me of the comments scrolling across the screen on video at Nico Nico Douga.
I'm shocked, too. I remember that there was a team of fans working on making a Cloverfield game, where you could play as either the military or the monster (I think you were also meant to be able to play as a parasite). Then Paramount asked if they could stop, because they wanted to make their own Cloverfield game…
Really? That's what makes you say 'pass'? Rather than the other terrible shit present in the trailer? Man, I don't get modern dinosaur nerds. I'm all for accuracy myself - I'd prefer to see the right number of claws and toes on Ceratopsians and Sauropods, the palms facing inwards on theropods, realistic muscle and fat…
The Techodes aren't purposely crafted by humans anyway, they took form from the Gads reacting to a human's emotion or something, right? They're mostly autonomous. So they wouldn't have a cockpit (though yeah it'd certainly be safer if they did, but that was the point).
The mecha design was one of the biggest draws for…
Only for the Dinobots and Li Bingbing.
