I doubt it would have mattered if they had the added stages and bosses, the gameplay was changed completely having to attack from the sides to all 8 directions and the music was changed from catchy tunes to bland, forgettable background music.

...now THAT...would be called a real war simulator.

Because Konami made it, the Simpsons games made now are done by EA I believe.

If it weren't for piracy, kids these days would miss out on gems such as The Simpsons Arcade, the original TMNT: Turtles in Time arcade game and the original Goldeneye 007... and likely never would play them due to legal complications such as a change of companies that now handle the licensed product.

Seriously? Even though Kotaku linked to this gem of a fangame about a week ago?

now that battle... I would pay the complete boxset to watch

I somewhat miss the days when I could just have Mewtwo defeat the Elite Four all on his own... What a magnificent, gloriously broken Pokemon.

Congratulations!

it's either a woman or a seal

I was CONVINCED the gospel singers behind him were going to sing with him as backup

Even though Sonic Team and Rare hasn't dissolved, they lack the crucial members that founded their respective groups that made their brand names so beloved and recognizable.

they seem to have disbanded and the most of the main members have become freelance... David Wise still composes music wherever he's needed while Chris Seavor seems to be spending his days complaining about everything on Twitter like an old man.

so basically Hudson is now in name only

I've been watching the episodes on there not too long ago, it's been great seeing the episodes we missed out on (100+ of them, jeez).

About time they started making merchandise of this franchise... I've been a fan of it since I first came across the PS1 game in Blockbuster Video all those years ago...

Seconded. I just wish Konami would make a sequel.

I... I simply must play this...

ditto here, thanks to Kotaku, I now have a new favorite online show to keep track of~

Well that's a shame, I really liked what Kotaku was doing with the half-dub/half-sub episodes... I normally prefer dubs so I don't have to look away from the action while being busy reading what's being said.
