It’s smug looking because to me it’s smug looking and that’s just a subjective interpretation I’m allowed to make? And the fact that this article exists mean a lot of people probably agree with me?

I tend to see them as:
I don’t think there’s anything racist about it. It’s just a kind of smug looking picture, very meme-ready.
Yeah I agree, I’ve thought about this before. I think one of the reasons is Gen Z teenage life is probably a lot less recognizable to Millennials and Gen Xers than the Millennial teenage life from Super Bad was to the adults at the time.
At a company maybe, but this is being applied to teams. It’s honestly pretty easy to build a team with zero low performers, and this system would force the manager to pick someone to call a low performer anyway. That’s why it’s bad and people who actually know what they’re doing don’t like it.
I thought it was a giant alien baby
Add in some Robin Hobb books and I’m in.
I mean I could honestly see Colbert doing exactly that and making it work as a joke.
Yeah I would worry most about turn 3. They might play him off curve later, but at that point you have knocked them off their power curve so their deck probably doesn’t work, and move decks do well against decks that didn’t work.
I’ve seen decks add Armor specifically to protect Human Torch, since he’s such a good Killmonger / Electra target. Decks do similar things to protect Sunspot. So many decks are running Killmonger right now that it’s hard to make Human Torch work.
Social media killed his appeal for me. Followed him on insta for a while and it’s just unbearable marketing slop 24/7, zero actual humanity. He’s like the Hollywood version of a LinkedIn influencer.
People also thought Iron Man was a B/C tier hero before that movie came out. People will go see movies about whoever if they are good.
Yeah I’m pretty sure the Hollywood premieres are not kid-focused events, regardless of the rating. I’m sure booze is served often.
Jabroni was a word The Rock used a lot in wrestling promos.
I think there are some things only a true fan can make, and some things where a more dispassionate hand can lead to a better result. For example, I don’t think a standard competent Hollywood directory could have made Peter Jackson’s LOTR trilogy. But a more nuts-and-bolts, just here to do a job type might have done a…
IMO a Deadpool movie is the perfect place to introduce the X-Men. You can explain it away with some multiverse incursion / merging plot, where both X-Men universe and MCU people are unaware that the universe has changed, and Deadpool is the only one that’s aware of it. Like a Mandela effect. Plus maybe Wolverine plus w…
People in land locked states making Oyster stuffing are brave.
It’s weird that they made it focus on a horror offshoot story when most Marvel fans are likely more interested in standard super hero stuff. I’m sure this will do well, but it would do better if it were a standard Avengers or X-Men game that didn’t rely on some demon plot to provide the story.
Yo Tactics Ogre I’m happy for you and imma let you finish but Ogre Battle 64 is one of the best strategy RPGs of all time
Yeah, I really appreciate that the Passport exists. There aren’t many 2-row V6 SUVs left, almost everything is a crossover with a 4-banger.
