1st gear - I live in the city so a convertible isn’t practical, but if you see me behind the wheel of a crossover you’ll know I finally fell asleep and have become one of the pod people.

For the sake of argument let's say Tesla is one of the leading pioneers in EV: their first car was the Roadster.
2018 Miata RF but before that? 5 other Miatas of various years/generations (yet to own an NA) and two S2000s..one of which I still own. If you don’t like convertibles, that’s fine. If you’ve never owned one and are just making up silly or insane reasons (moths and loose papers....)that they’re terrible (moths and…

“I don’t need to understand, honestly. His movies are experiential, really.... It’s a feeling, it’s a mood, it’s an energy kind of thing.”
Yeah, not sure how they can blame EV’s for it when convertibles have been declining every year. EV’s provide enough flexibility in packaging that convertibles would be easier. The batteries in the floor add structure.
Like the Tesla Roadster?
I’m sure a lot of the pushback against donks is subconscious or conscious racism, since the donk community tends to be predominantly black.
I had no idea this was a thing. That’s crazy that they didn’t have anything like this in place already.
Yes its a common practice, but in California, the law is that you have to get the customer’s consent to record those phone calls, and they didnt. Thats the issue
most of it is fine, just that you never gave consent according to Cali law for all of this to happen. which is just a technicality.
As others have stated it’s really useful for discoverability. If their concern is that hosting doesn’t actually give the hosted the views or something, I don’t see why they don’t just you know...do that. Is it too hard to split views between two channels?
If even only 1% of people who check an offline channel see the host and click through, that is infinitely more than could do so without the host. Twitch is already notorious for its poor discoverability, so even minor moves against discoverability are compounding a known issue, rather than fixing it.
Even if the raiding argument were valid. There’s still a very important aspect I see of hosting used A LOT. And that’s when a streamer is making an appearance on another stream, so they host THAT stream, such as things like GDQ.
And everyone’s voices jump up an octave.
Plot twist, Dominar Rygel XVI comes out of the sphere.
Hooing eh?
Hook it up to your Mother-in-Laws OBD 2 and sit back and watch the hilarity ensue.
Absolutely run them over. The fact that they’re young and spry makes ‘em worth the most points!
LTE? Check. GPS? Check.
