It’s not just the time; when WoW came out, it showed people new things (or at least new MMO players new things). You can’t re-experience a game for the first time again, so all the magic that came with WoW being your first MMO, or the first step forward to a more friendly MMO, isn’t something that just going back and

Wasn’t it Division that was going to add new gear that was above the 500 ilvl currently available until players complained, or am I thinking of a different game that did this recently?

But it’s not another store, it’s another launcher. There were already lots of stores. The games on this launcher are frequently not available on other stores; there’s no competition if you can only buy it in one place.

But see, they aren’t looking for stick work, interference, slashes, etc. They’re “letting the players play” and letting that nonsense largely go unchecked relative to the regular season, and depending on which two teams are playing.

As someone else pointed out, it’s more the public transportation. If you guarantee you’ll have a couple hours every day of playtime during your commute, things like the 3DS, PSP, and now Switch are infinitely more useful than a regular console.

That’s not that hot a take. It’s a pretty reasonable assertion.

Bring on Cytus II indeed. I’ve been buying the characters as they’re going on sale, and they’re loaded with fantastic tracks. Cherry is giving Paff a run for her money as my favourite track list.

God forbid anyone wanted a pretty version with gameplay they actually enjoyed, rather than FFXV again.

That goes for every game really. Assholes and cheaters don’t have a specific nationality, and if you think they do you haven’t been online enough.

That’s really not true. The majority of the changes they’ve made are to characters that weren’t seeing any OWL play. Like, look at the Baptiste patch:

Valve generates keys for developers to sell on other storefronts from which they get 0% cut. How many people are willing to give that possibility up to get developers a bigger cut?

Revenue and profit aren’t the same thing.

“We’re more pro indie developer because we give them a bigger cut. Also we don’t let most indie developers release their games on our platform.”

Steam also provides more backend services than EGS does right now, so that contributes too.

In hindsight, this was the game that set me up for my now-wife to get me into anime. Upon replaying it, certain things I initially found cringey and awkward were actually just ultra Japanese - like the concert in the Thunder Plains seemed like such nonsense to me at the time, but now I’ve watched enough anime and

Weakness of opponent doesn’t mean relative to you, it means overall. The worst team playing the 2nd and 3rd worst team has an equivalent strength of schedule to the best team playing the 2nd and 3rd worst team.

It’s a response to a knock on the Wii U. They’re saying the Wii U was great, as evidenced by its awesome games that are now being bought on the Switch even though those of us that had a Wii U played them ages ago.

“Maybe this really will make Valve care a little bit more about Steam going forward.”

Products should have standard features that their competitors do. It’s not complicated. If it takes twelve years for Epic to get up to speed after someone else drew up the blueprint, they suck.

“Look, I get it, the Epic store has a long way to go, but it’s been around for FOUR GODDAMN MONTHS! Valve has had 12 YEARS to develop and build up Steam to where it is now. “
