While I’ll be the first to complain about how RNG heavy the game has gotten, I won’t sit there and act like there isn’t a competitive side to it. That’s why so few people get in the 10% and lower on the ladder each month. You don’t go on a 16 game win streak and hit legend just because of RNG.

The xbox one essentialy runs a 360 emulator as an app. So it can use all the xbox one features...but as far as the game is concered it is running on a 360. There’s no need to choose servers.

I think what got lost when ID4 came out, was it’s the same mythmaking present in things that do get celebrated like Star Wars. The tone’s not dissimilar. It’s somber and silly and boomy all at once. People win by an inexplicably stupid flaw of logic. It’s less good in terms of character arcs by a mile though.
